The scent of violets has been inextricably linked to the city of Parma for 200 years. More precisely since the Duchess Maria Luigia arrived in the city and then surrounded herself with violets in the form of perfume, decorations and coats of arms of the Duchy. 2016 marked the bicentenary of his arrival in the city.
